Now, can we talk about how wildly fascinating and sometimes complicated it is for me to see the reaction to each chapter of There is Nothing Left to Say (On The Invisibles) every week? This is all about me. I may not be the only author or the primary reason you’re here (this is, after all, a book about other people’s works and sometimes other people), but indulge me. I put a lot into this.

Each week’s part is released without me seeing the final version. I see it relatively the same time as the near-quickest of you. Some of you beat me every time.

Everyone laughs because my work is either done far ahead of time or stretches out forever with deadlines impossible to match, but this is disability, right? Atop of general life I’ve got arthritis, cerebral palsy, fibromyalgia and that just gets us started.
