From an Opera on Hiatus

Last year I was solicited by an activist opera company to co-write libretto with a team. An exciting and important venture, I was thrilled by everything I was told, everything I saw and heard. While that project is on hold, I thought folks might enjoy seeing some of the rejected text, as I felt my way into the production.
